"Finished Reading" Aleph by Paulo Coelho!!

Read from March 07 to 23, 2013

It was ok as the two stars I gave it indicate!! As I was going through its first chapters I thought it was going to become one of my favorite books. But when the author's trip began -for the the book is about a trip that the author wanted to have- my esteem of the book kept decreasing, until it became total boredom. I couldn't get what the author wanted to tell us via this book, for me the events were incoherent and without any meaningful purpose.

What made me want to read this book in the first place is the its inpiring synopsis. I wanted to know what would be Coelho's opinion about making changes when the change is needed in one's life, about improving and taking risks, but I couldn't get it even after reaching the second half of the novel. Well I wouldn't say he didn't talk about these things, but the way he used to bring them up didn't impress me.

Finished Reading: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins!!

Read from March 01 to 04, 2013

I so love it!! It was awesome, and I simply couldn't let go of it until I was stopped by "END OF BOOK ONE".

I love Katniss with her cleverness. At first I thought it was mere good luck that kept making things work for her, but then I realized that the key to her success was her being herself. And I felt bad for Peeta, but I have a feeling that things will get better in the next two books. Well I hope so!!

The Hunger Games are about trying to stay alive in circumstances that totally forbid it. So you can guess it takes real hardwork to win them. And that's what makes the story so exciting.

So yeah!! I finally managed to read the first book of The Hunger Games, after all the credits it was given by nearly everyone!! Obviously, I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

Finished reading: Remember me? by Sophie Kinsella!!

Read from February 26 to March 01, 2013

It was ok!! The things I didn't like about the book are probably more numerous that those I actually liked!!

Lexi wakes up one day in a hospital, and finds out that she has lost all the memories about the last three years. She finds herself in 2007, married to a good looking man, she's the Director of the department she was working at three years ago, and she's more beautiful and skinny. Well, all that seems perfect at first, but as she gets to know the new people around her as well as the old ones, she realizes that her life wasn't as great as she thought. So she decides to fix what was broken.

That's all. I gave it two stars because I was so bored that I had to skim through the book.
